It was a great night at the Dorchester group. The young people had fun learning how to Juggle and spin a Diablo. Some of the young people hadn't ever tried it before so they were glad to get the opportunity. We also got creative decorating posters and enjoyed chatting about various topics and things that the young people would like to do at future groups. It was a lovely evening and the young people enjoyed trying something new.

Rainbow Laces Day, scheduled on October 8th, is a fun way to raise awareness for the LGBTQ+ community characterised by rainbow shoelaces! The goal is to help them to feel accepted and supported, primarily in the context of sports or physical activity. This is done by wearing rainbow laces in shoes to show solidarity. Sometimes people also organise events on the day such as inclusive sports tournaments or fitness classes.
The campaign was founded by Stonewall, an LGBTQ+ human rights charity in the UK, in 2013 as a one-off initiative to advocate for gay footballers. It has since expanded to provide the same support to the entire LGBTQ+ community across every sport. The message it brings about is that everybody should be welcome to participate in sports and activity regardless of sexuality and sex/gender.

It was an enjoyable night at the Bournemouth group. The young people took part in a healthy relationship activity, which demonstrated what a healthy relationship looks like. They also completed a sex and the law quiz, and learnt about C-Cards and how they can sign up. They also played a game called Misheard Music which was played in teams and created lots of laughs. The young people also learnt how to juggle and how to spin a Diablo and tried out a few tricks. Everyone enjoyed the activities and trying something new. lots of fun was had by all.
