LGBT+ Organisations

Intercom Trust

Intercom Trust is a lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans+ charity working to provide help, support, advocacy, training, counselling and much more!

LGBT Consortium

LGBT Consortium work to strengthen and support LGBT+ groups, organisations and projects so they can deliver direct services and campaign for individual rights.

LGB&T Partnership

The National LGB&T Partnership works on reducing health inequalities and improving access to health and social care for LGB&T people.

Galop is the UK’s only specialist LGBT+ anti-violence charity. Providing advice, support and advocacy.

The Proud Trust

The Proud Trust is an organisation that helps LGBT+ young people empower themselves, to make a positive change for themselves, and their communities.

LGBT Foundation is a national charity delivering advice, support and information services to lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) communities.

Coming Out UK

Coming Out UK is an organisation which aims to provide help and support for men and women within and outside the LGBTQ+ community around the UK.

GIRES is a UK wide organisation whose purpose is to improve the lives of trans and gender non-conforming people of all ages.

Gendered Intelligence

Gendered Intelligence deliver arts programmers and creative workshops to trans youth from across the UK.

Health Services

CAMHS provides support to children and young people who are coping with significant mental health difficulties.

Healthwatch Dorset is an independent service which exists to speak up for local people on Health and Social Care.

Over the Rainbow is an NHS health initiative for Dorset’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) and Men who have sex with Men (MSM) Communities.

STARS is a pan-Dorset charity that offers one to one support for anyone who lives works or studies in Dorset and has experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives.

Body Positive

Body Positive Dorset offers advice, practical support, counselling, life coaching, and information to people living with or affected by HIV.

Terrence Higgins Trust

Terrence Higgins Trust is the UK's leading HIV and sexual health charity, support people living with HIV  and help the people using our services to achieve good sexual health.

Prince's Trust

The Prince's Trust is a charity that helps vulnerable young people get their lives on track. It supports 11 to 30-year-olds who are unemployed and those struggling at school and at risk of exclusion.

Innovate Dorset

The Chatterboxes Project

The Chatterboxes is a youth action project run by young people with disabilities aged 11-25 years old from Bournemouth, Poole and other parts of Dorset.



Girlguiding have fun, adventure and the space to help young girls discover their potential.


Number 18

Number 18 is located in Poole Town Centre and provides confidential information and advice for Young People aged 12 to 19 (or 25 if they have special educational needs or disabilities).
