The Lego® Icebreaker

Writer: SYP TeamSYP Team

Our young leader Aster came up with an ice breaking activity using Lego®, it was a very good and inclusive activity.

The purpose of the activity to build a 2D Lego® house from different coloured bricks that is the same as the house build by the person delivering the activity.

The young people were put into groups of three need to build the exact Lego® house. One person in the group can see what the house looks like, they will then tell one person in the group the colour and shape of the bricks they need to collect. They will then have to tell the third person how to put the bricks together to build the house.

This activity works on memory, listening , communication and leadership skills.

This activity encouraged everyone to get involved and to use different skills, have patience and work together.
