We held our fundraising jumble sale on the Saturday 25th April at the Genesis Centre in Poole. It wasn't just a jumble sale though, we had homemade cakes on sale, we had face painting, glitter tattoos, mug painting, hand made craft sale and a tombola. All of which was to raise much needed funds for Space Youth Project (SYP).
Everyone volunteered their time that day, from our CEO, Operations manager, trustees, our youth work volunteers, our young people, a lady from the ASDA community team and 4 people that were friends of members of the SYP team. They all gave so generously as they wanted to see SYP raise as much money as possible.
The day was a lot of hard work but a lot of fun too and most importantly we raised a massive £1258 for SYP - so thank you and well done everyone!
We were also able to give back to the local community too. Following the jumble we donated a bag of toiletries, a bag of food items and 5 black bags full of clothing needed at the Routes to Roots project that is run in the Genesis Centre as well as a bag of toiletries and 4 black bags full of clothing needed at Hope for Food.

Thank you to everyone that donated there unwanted clothes so generously, thank you everyone that made baked goods to sell and to everyone that came along and spent their money!
Finally a massive thank you to the individuals that run Routes to Roots for allowing us to use the Genesis Centre free of charge on the day!
