he National Trust kindly offered a free trip to Brownsea Island for our young People. They had a great day as you can see. They were met by the lovely National Trust Volunteers at the quay side where they boarded the boat to take them to the island. When they arrived they were met by another lovely National trust volunteer Sarah. She took them on a guided tour and told them all about the history of the island. They got to see an incredible video of the birds and red squirrels with their babies in their nests.

They continued the tour to the viewpoints which were fantastic. They had a great view of Studland and old Harry Rocks. Then the young people decided that they would like to have their picnic lunch on the beach. They then went to the Scout Stone to get an ice cream, just to finish their lunch off with a sweet treat!

They then walked to the lily pond and Avocet Hide where they looked out onto the lagoon and saw lots of different birds, and had the opportunity to complete their Lagoon bird bingo. They then went along the boardwalk to the look out. It was a lovely day and the weather was perfect. The young people had a fantastic time
