It was Pumpkin Carving & Black History Month at Sherborne group this month. The young people were asked to research 2 prominent black icons - Lady Phyll and Ted Brown. These individuals have made significant contributions to improve the lives of LGBT+ individuals within the UK. Young people were split into groups and each group had to research an individual and present it back to the other groups. Rest of the session was pumpkin carving and costume competition. The young people enjoyed session, especially pumpkin carving minus how gross it is to scope out the insides.
