International Day Of Charity

ree

Every year on 5th September, people around the world come together to celebrate the

International Day of Charity. This day is a reminder of how powerful charity can be when we join forces to make a difference. It was chosen to honour Mother Teresa, who dedicated her life to helping others. Charity today is a driving force in social innovation, poverty reduction, and inclusive development.

At Space Youth Project, we see charity as more than just giving money. It’s about time,

compassion, and community. Whether it’s volunteering, fundraising, or simply checking in on a friend, every act of kindness helps build a stronger, more supportive world. Charity is about creating safe, welcoming spaces where everyone can belong.

How You Can Get Involved

On International Day of Charity, why not take a moment to think about how you can make a difference? Here are a few simple ideas:

  •  Volunteer your time at a local community project.

  •  Start a small fundraiser with friends or classmates.

  •  Donate items like clothes, books, or food to those who need them.

  •  Support organisations or attend events that celebrate inclusion.

  •  Spread awareness on social media about causes you care about.

At Space Youth Project, we’re committed to empowering young people, creating safe

spaces, and supporting the community we work with. But we can’t do it without you.

Here’s how you can help us continue making a difference:

  •  Donate – every contribution, big or small, helps us run projects and support more young people.

  •  Volunteer – join our team and be part of creating positive change.

  •  Share – spread the word about our work on social media and help us reach more people.

Together, we can make kindness go even further.
