BCP Council Youth Voice Celebration!

On Saturday 21st March, I and another Supernova attended the BCP Council Youth Voice Celebration at The Life Centre in Winton, as the Supernovas were nominated for the Young Community Change Champion award. We had a really good time, getting the opportunity to take part in a workshop about the UN Rights of a Child, where we learnt a lot, and listening to some amazing people talk about the nominees for each award, where we heard about the incredible impact of young people throughout BCP over the last year.

Councillor Richard Burton read out our nomination, as well as some of the other young people’s. We were also provided with a lovely lunch, and overall the day was very enjoyable. Our nomination means a lot, it’s a nice feeling to have our hard work appreciated, and it was a great opportunity to hear about some other young people, too.
