Upcycling at SYP Dorchester

At Dorchester group we have been teaching the young people about being environmentally friendly and the importance of recycling and upcycling. Also they learnt upcycling is far most cost effective than buying new.


The young people decided they wanted to make some upcycled jewellery. They got crafting with some old unused / broken costume jewellery and made some lovely new unique and original pieces that you couldn't buy in a shop, that cost pence to make. The young people really enjoyed the evening
