SYP go Ape!

Space Youth Project were given the opportunity to bring five young people to Go Ape on Sunday 21st June for free as Go Ape were supporting Pride month.

First, we got equipped with harnesses and were shown how to use the carabiners attached to them. After the short training course, we made our way to the first level. 

To get up into the trees, we had to climb the inside of an extremely tedious tower. Once we were up, we balanced across bridges, tightropes and hanging platforms. 

After a slight issue with one of the zip wires, we finally completed the first level and got back to the ground with another tower.

Some of the young people continued to the next 3 levels in which there were even longer zip lines and a skateboard.

The staff were friendly and talkative and they helpfully directed us.

After completing all the levels, we got given a certificate for completing it and took a group photo! - Kerian, a supernova
