LGBT+ History at Poole!

At Poole group for LGBT+ history month the young people were put into groups and given cards with events on and cards with years on and they had to build a timeline of all the events and things that have changed for LGBT+ over the years.

The young people really enjoyed the activity and many were unaware of the order of these events and how far back some went. They also learned a lot from a UK point of view and not just a general view point which mostly focuses on the American movement. They all advised they wished this was taught in schools
