Bourne Free!

Space Youth Project attended Bourne Free 2025; Bournemouth's annual pride event.

As always, Space was a part of the parade as well as the festival-style event in Meyrick Park which runs throughout the weekend which includes live music, street food, fairground games and a number of stalls run by different charities and organisations. 

Despite the heat, young people attending the event said they enjoyed the day and were pleased to have the opportunity to meet other young people from outside of their group and be a part of the parade. On the stall, we were also able to raise roughly £200 selling glitter tattoos, pride merchandise and entries to our straw game! 

We are looking forward to returning next year, for Bourne Free 2026.
