BBC Radio Solent Make a Difference Award!
A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to our AMAZING trustee CHARLEE!!!
Tuesday 22nd September was the BBC Radio Solent Make a Difference awards and our CEO and Operations Manager had nominated Charlee for the Volunteer Award and she was a finalist.
Charlee, Helen W, Helen D and Charlee's wife Liz attended the event which was help at the Utilita Bowl Southampton. It was a lovely afternoon with delicious afternoon team in a room surrounded by individuals that give their time to make other peoples live better. Form the amazing doggy that helps rescues vulnerable missing people, to the individuals that raise thousands of pounds for charity and the gardeners that make communities more environmentally friendly it was a honour and a privilege to be in the same room as all these amazing people.
However the icing and cherry on the cake was that our wonderful trustee Charlee won!!!!!
Charlee - we couldn't be anymore proud of you than we already are and thank you for all the work you have done for Space Youth Project over the years. Your dedication and commitment to the charity has changed, and saved lives. You are FABULOUS!!!
