About
The PEN Children and Young People’s Advisory Group is part of Choice Support’s Public Engagement Network (PEN). It brings together young people aged 12 to 25 to share their experiences using health services and help enhance the care provided by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. You will be able to:
Share your experiences of using health services (like GP, dentist, or hospital)
Influence how services are inspected and improved
Build skills and confidence, with support to record the experience on your CV
Receive a shopping voucher as a thank-you for taking part
How it works
The group meets online (via Zoom) a few times a year. Meetings are welcoming, safe, and supported by experienced staff.
You can join completing the consent form online at Choice Support | PEN Children and Young People's Advisory Group
If you are under 16, the Advisory group will need your parent or guardian's consent. You will then be sent an email with the joining instructions and further information.
