Liz form the friendly food company visited our Weymouth group again and worked with the young people to make bean burgers. The young people got involved and really enjoyed the evening. Weymouth community Police Office Sadie also joined the group and got involved with the cooking too! A big thanks to Liz and Sadie for supporting Space Youth Project young people!
Bournemouth group had a lot going on last session, with healthy cooking going on in the kitchen, other young people were making funky badges or using provided prompts to get involved with some creative writing! We had some fantastic outcomes that really explored our young peoples' creativity! The food was really tasty, they made Burnt Aubergine Veggie Chilli. The young people budgeted the cost of making this and then all worked together to prepare the dish and clean up afterwards.
Sherborne group has officially begun preparing for Bourne Free, and excitement is building as we designed and crafted vibrant placards to carry during the parade! We can’t wait to join the celebrations on the 12th July—it’s going to be a fantastic day of color, music, and community spirit. Whether you’re marching with us or cheering from the sidelines, we look forward to seeing you there!
